The Code of Professional Responsibility, adopted by all states, maintains that lawyers must remain proficient in their work. Continuing legal education (CLE) is one way to achieve professional competence since its purpose is to maintain or sharpen the skills of licensed attorneys.
Lisa Wenzel Wells has spent countless hours at training seminars and conferences all over the country honing her skills as an attorney. As a matter of fact, Lisa's continuing legal education credits (CLE) far exceed what is statutorily required.
Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE)*
- Ohio: 24 hours every two years including 2 hours of ethics based on the Code of Professional Responsibility.
- Kentucky: 12.50 hours per year including 2 hours legal ethics, new lawyer skills training within 12 mos. of admission.
